After a very successful conference in 2023, the Delphi Economic Forum’s East Med & Southeast edition is returning to Brussels for the 3rd consecutive year, taking place at the Hotel Sofitel Brussels Europe, on Thursday, January 30, 2025.
Brussels boasts a unique ecosystem of individuals and organizations who deeply affect or are affected by developments in SE Europe & the Eastern Mediterranean. The EU’s proximity and political entanglement with the region, either on a bilateral, Member State level or through the EU’s signature accession and neighborhood policies, are omnipresent in relevant discussions. With our unparalleled regional network of experts from the full range of human activity, the Delphi Economic Forum aims to bring the region’s true “voice” to EU audiences and cultivate relationships between policy makers in both the region and the EU.
This year’s Forum will address some of the key political, economic, and foreign policy challenges that East Med & SouthEast Europe are facing today, and their links with EU politics. Following the geopolitical transformations imposed by Russia’s continued aggression towards Ukraine and the economic and security repercussions of major global shifts, the need for enhanced regional cooperation and further political and economic integration is vital to maintaining global stability and prosperity. From the Western Balkans to the 3+1 mechanism in the East Med, we aim to explore how countries in the region work together to overcome common challenges.
A key ingredient of the Delphi Economic Forum’s founding mission is the belief that honest and constructive dialogue is what brings people together and leads to overcoming regional challenges, sparking a paradigm shift in regional cooperation. We hope to continue nurturing this brand of thinking with the 3rd Delphi Brussels Forum.
